Jeremy Buth, originally from Lakewood, Colorado, is a Luthier at Luther Strings. His grandmother, Nadene Bean, taught him how to play an 1/8th sized cello at the age of 2. She passed away when Jeremy was 5 years old, leading him to study with Carol Tarr. He credits his time with Carol to what truly started his passion for playing. Jeremy went on to play with numerous ensembles, including the Jefferson County All County Orchestra, The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra, Front Range Youth Symphony, and Jefferson Symphony.
He found a passion for woodworking through Boy Scouts and from his middle school "tech-ed" class. In 2017 he enrolled in the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City. Jeremy has made 4 violins, a viola, and a cello over the span of 6 years. He is currently working on 2 violins for his graduate work from VMSA and joined the Luther Strings team in 2023.
